This policy forms part of our
Terms of Service. It is short on purpose: the aim
is to keep the service working well for everyone, not to catch you out.
1. Don’t take other people’s data
Do not attempt to access another customer’s account, designs, materials or measurements.
Do not probe, scan or test the security of the service, or try to bypass authentication, plan limits or rate limits.
Do not use another person’s credentials, or share yours.
If you find a security problem, please tell us at
privacy@cor-stellaris.com rather
than exploring it. We will not pursue anyone who reports a genuine vulnerability
in good faith and gives us reasonable time to fix it.
2. Don’t disrupt the service
Do not use automated means to place unreasonable load on the service.
Do not upload malware or anything designed to interfere with the software.
Do not attempt to interrupt or degrade the service for other customers.
3. Don’t resell or reverse engineer it
Do not resell, sublicense or provide the service to third parties as your own, without our written agreement.
Do not reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the software, except where the law expressly gives you that right regardless of contract.
Do not use the service to build a competing product.
4. Don’t upload what isn’t yours
Only upload measurement data, material data and designs that you have the
right to use. Do not upload content that infringes anyone’s intellectual
property or that you are contractually forbidden from disclosing.
5. Use the AI assistant sensibly
Do not use the Lumi assistant to attempt to extract information about other customers, or about the service’s internals.
Do not use it in a way designed to run up cost rather than to do coating work — for example automated or scripted querying.
Remember that Lumi’s answers are advisory. Section 7 of the Terms applies: validate before you deposit.
6. Follow the law
Do not use the service for any unlawful purpose, or in breach of export
control or sanctions rules that apply to you.
7. What happens if you don’t
If we believe an account is breaching this policy we will normally contact you
first and give you a chance to put it right. Where the breach is serious, ongoing,
or creates risk for other customers, we may suspend or terminate the account
immediately, as set out in section 11 of the Terms.
8. Questions
If you are unsure whether something is permitted — particularly around team
use, automation or integrating the service with your own systems — ask us at
privacy@cor-stellaris.com. We would
much rather answer a question than enforce a rule.
